Yes it’s true: You can lose weight without diet or exercise. Is it my recommendation? No. I believe the trifecta of health is an activity for mental, emotional, and physical.
But sometimes training isn’t feasible and my clients still want to lose weight or just get started slowly. And that’s Ok.
So in response to some clients, I am sharing with you 3 tips on how to lose weight without exercise and diet. I made a video with these tips also you can watch it here Lose Weight-No Diet, No Exercise (please subscribe while you are watching, I appreciate your support).
Tip #1 – Portion Control
This is a two-part tip. Generally, we eat a minimum of 2 recommended servings of food at every meal. Think about how much a restaurant serves you, or when you have pasta and grandma keeps loading your plate, or you are watching TV and grazing. The number of calories we eat can be massive.
- Be aware of how much you eat by choosing a plate or bowl that is smaller and looks full and only eat 1 plate.
Tip #2 – Don’t drink your calories
Similar to tip #1, be aware of the glass size you are using and don’t automatically just fill it up. The number one question I get is about wine. Is it ok to drink wine? Yes. How much are you drinking? 1 glass – Ok. Wait. Is it a normal small glass or a large goblet that’s half full? Big difference. Stick to the small glass and drink slowly and enjoy.
Tip #3 – No Sugar drinks
This is one of the main contributors to obesity in kids and adults. Sugar drinks. Juice boxes, sports drinks, fancy alcoholic drinks. Many times loaded with more sugar than normal days recommend amount.
Ok, so which one or more of these resonate with you? Which can you put into play today to start dropping weight?
I guarantee these work.
