My good buddy and band expert Dave Schmitz, shared a great message today and I wanted to share it with you. He talked about focusing on “Behaviors vs Results”. I added a few comments a videos to help you. I think this is great advice to consider and will go a long way in developing your fitness longevity and overall quality lifestyle.
Here are some examples of weekly behaviors you could put in place that overtime would guarantee a better YOU.
- Make time to exercise 4 times per week (Not find time, but Make time, schedule it- Here is another 4 Minute Abs and Core workout )
- Take 10 minutes to prep your meals
- Stretch out and mobilize your body everyday (Here is a Short Yoga for the Back with Megan)
- Pay yourself every week
- Get at least 7 hours of sleep per night
- Tell someone close to you how much you appreciate them ( I appreciate YOU!)
- Take a 30-minute walk at least 2 times per week (walk with a family member or by yourself to destress)
Honestly these are pretty simple to do. Plus done on a weekly basis, you will be amazed at the compounded value they will create.
